Mullein, with its bright yellow flowers, embodies the power of summer. It belongs to the sun herbs. As an incense plant, mullein brings positive energy and shows us the path to happiness. The smoke has a warm, earthy scent.

Wild oregano is a very aromatic wild herb that has been considered a protective herb against negative energy since ancient times. Therefore, it is also called "good spirits." Wild oregano also has a relaxing effect and banishes nervousness. The smoke is slightly minty and herbaceous.

Since incense bundles are not food, the use of pesticides is often not monitored. However, we always felt it was absurd to want to purify the air and mind while simultaneously releasing chemical residues. That's why we only use certified organic raw materials, the same ones we would use to make tea.

We make all our incense bundles from high-quality, organic herbs from Germany. We have partnered with a fantastic herbal farm in southern Germany for this purpose. Five experienced herbalists harvested, dried, and bundled the plants. This makes each bundle unique and native to nature.

Smudging is one of the oldest rituals in human history. On every continent and throughout history, people have used the burning of plant parts to create specific effects and emotions. Smudging was part of everyday rituals but was also associated with special celebrations, life events, or annual festivals.

How do I smudge? Light an incense bundle at the tip, let it burn for a while, and then blow out the flame. This creates embers. You keep the embers alive by supplying air—so gently wave it in the air or blow. To extinguish the flame, stick it in sand or let it burn out. Now ventilate thoroughly and let new energies flow in. You can smudge one bundle approximately 30 times.

What else do I need for this? You can use a fireproof bowl or plate to prevent the ash from falling on the floor. Take at least five minutes before and after burning incense to fully concentrate on your ritual.

How does it work? Science shows us that the scent molecules from the smoke travel directly through the nose to our limbic system. It is the oldest part of our brain and controls our emotions. This rudimentary part awakens our memories and manages our autonomic nervous system. The scent of the smoke alone therefore has an impact on our entire body.
