Our collaboration with the artist Andrea van Reimersdahl is entering round two, and with our Early Autumn Collection we have released 7 beautiful hand-printed pieces.

The BASIC CUT DRESS is a loose-fitting sweat dress with dropped shoulders. A blend of modal and cotton gives the fabric a pleasant feel and a matte, shimmering look. It is very soft and comfortable to wear.

In collaboration with the Berlin artist Andrea van Reimersdahl and MIO ANIMO, a very special collection has been created.
In Shades of You has Andrea van Reimersdahl printed selected pieces from the MIO ANIMO collection with abstract forms.
For both the LIMITED and EARLY AUTUMN EDITIONS of MIO ANIMO, she has developed compositions from her repertoire of forms that underscore the MIO ANIMO design in form and color while simultaneously possessing radiance. They visualize femininity and strength.
The screen printing inks Andrea uses are 100% free of formaldehyde, petrol, and APEO (alkylphenol ethoxylates) and thus meet the guidelines of OEKO-TEX Standard 100.

Andrea van Reimersdahl is a Berlin-based painter who specializes in textile works and prints.
For her, abstract forms and colors are a way of incorporating the female body into her artistic process; they arise from the outlines of the shadow silhouette. She understands painting as images in motion. They can be worn. She founded the fashion label AVR with the idea of ​​wearable painting on the human body.
Her career has resulted in numerous international projects with designers; for example, she has printed collection pieces for the fashion house Prada and collaborated on costumes for Warner Brothers film productions. She regularly develops art-in-architecture projects with architects, such as curtain and color concepts.

MADE-TO-ORDER

Each piece from the OPEN EDITION of EARLY AUTUMN EDITION is sewn after the order is placed and then printed by Andrea van Reimersdahl. Delivery will begin August 21, 2023.

To avoid overproduction, we only manufacture many items after the order has been received. The entire order will not be shipped until the AVR x MIO ANIMO piece has been completely sewn and printed. If you have selected multiple items from MIO ANIMO, the delivery time may be longer. We always strive to ship your order as quickly as possible.
